LIberia Mission Trip

It seems that God is calling us to go on a mission trip to Liberia this spring. While in Liberia, we will be spending time helping with orphan care, a vacation Bible school, leading Bible studies, evangelism, etc. I'm very excited to see what all God has planned!

The trip costs about $3000 per person!! So, to help raise money, from now until March 23, 2011, I will be doing photo sessions for a minimum donation of $30 per 30 minutes for portrait sessions and $100 per hour for weddings. Checks can be made out to Harvest Bible Chapel North Indianapolis. And, all donations are tax deductible!

If nothing else, will you join us in prayer? Prayer for safety (both physical and spiritual), the people we will come in contact with, and all the details that go into planning such a large trip. Thank you for your support!

Orphan Care

As some of you are already aware, God has placed on our hearts a desire to take care of orphans and those kids that may not have anywhere else to go. We are currently volunteering for a program called Safe Families and have a teenage girl living with us for possibly the next year. We are thrilled that God would give us a ministry opportunity within our own house. It is amazing how He provides and works in so many mysterious ways!!

Well, recently God has placed another desire on our hearts. It is for the people of Liberia. Due to recent war, roughly 50% of the population is under the age of 15 years old. FIFTEEN! Many women have been widowed and many children have been orphaned. But, God is doing amazing things through the hardship. Jeremy and I are considering joining others from our church to travel to Liberia during March and April. Will you consider partnering with us? (Financially would be greatly appreciated since the trip will cost about $6000 -- but prayer support would be all the more appreciated!) However you can help is great.
