Church Picnic

Below are a few images from our church picnic today. It was a great time to connect with friends and get to spend some quality time with the church family. What a great way to spend a Sunday evening!

All these pictures were taken with my new 50mm lens (which I totally love!) Thank you, LiaAnn for getting me onto this lens, it's great!

Maddie + Photoshop

I've been playing with Photoshop today. Here are some of the images I've modified...

LiaAnn + Maddie

LiaAnn is a fellow photographer and also a graphic designer (as well as mommy to Maddie). LiaAnn was so kind to invite me over to talk photography yesterday afternoon. It was so fun to get to spend time with her and her family. She let me try out her portrait lens (which I am now coveting!) Maddie was a good test subject for my experimentation with the lens.

I'm also playing around with Photoshop. So, I will hopefully be posting a few more pictures from this session that have been modified. Keep checking back for more!

John + Jeana + baby

As promised, here are more pictures from my time with John, Jeana, and baby.

Jeana + John (+baby)

Jeana is a fellow math teacher. We met in college and suffered through many hours of math proofs and sample lesson plans together. Jeana and John are now expecting their first child, which is very exciting! Here are a few samples of the pictures we took last week in West Lafayette.

Rebekah, Luke, and Jackson

Rebekah's parents were kind enough to allow us to use their house for some pictures. They have a pretty pond with Koi. Luke spent most of his time trying to the throw rocks into the pond. Not even the alligator in the pond scared him away!! :-) (The alligator was plastic.)
