Our Backyard

Now that the weather is a bit nicer, we are spending more time outside in our backyard. I love it when Pascal explores the yard, as I am sure he loves to do. He has to mark his territory and make sure the wild rabbit (named Bobby the Backyard Bunny) knows who lives here.

My Mother's Daughter

As mentioned in the previous post, my family owns what we call a farm. Both of my parents grew up on farms. So, there is debate as to whether or not I'm "just a city girl." Well, this picture seems to prove that I'm just my mother's daughter.

This is a picture of my mom's foot and my foot while we were standing in the middle of the woods. We had both just gotten a pedicure the week before.
Don't we make farm girls and city girls ever where so proud?

Farm Pictures

My family has had this piece of property since the mid -1800s. We have documentation going back to when the prospector bought it from the government. We call it a farm, but it hasn't been farmed in years. There is no house to speak of, just a couple of barns and plenty of trees. My dad, a fromer forestry major at Purdue, loves to drive around the property looking at his trees and telling us all about them.

Portfolio

Since I am working on getting together a portfolio of some of my work, I figured I would post a few of my pictures.

Boiler Up!

I was only able to save a few of the pictures from my college days that I took for the Purdue Exponent. Here are a few of them. Unfortunately, due to copyright, I could not remove the watermark.
BOILER UP!

I used to play high school basketball against Katie. It is so strange to see her playing for Purdue and, now, professionally.

Josh + Mary

These are long overdue. I was putting together my portfolio today and found some pictures that I have not yet posted. Josh and Mary had a small ceremony in a beautiful little church, after getting some pictures taken at the Indiana Museum of Art.

Adam + Angela (again)

Adam and Angela got married in June 2008. Yes, it has been a while since the wedding. I found these pictures in my file and I figured I would post them. Enjoy!
